Good dim sum meets jazz meets a dance floor with this group- I'll be playing with Phineas, vocalist in the Nat King Cole/Al Jarreau style, along with Ed Spillane on tenor saxophone, Caleb Furgatch on bass, and Michael Evans on drums. Golden Island is in the Mira Mesa neighborhood, on Camino Ruiz.

This evening, I'll be joined by Glen Fisher on bass and Richard Sellers on drums. We have a lot of fun playing (and playing around with) standards, as well as jazz classics and the occasional pop tune interpretation. Westgate Hotel is on Broadway downtown, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues.
Playing duo with drummers is something I've loved for a long time, and playing with Duncan Moore is always a pleasure. We play standards, jazz classics, and open-ended groove improvisations that go well with your drinks and dinner on the patio outside.
